WordPress 2.0 and K2 theme

I just updated to WordPress 2.0 and changed to the K2 theme.  Hopefully this works out well.

Game Elements PC Recoil gamepad drivers

Awhile ago I bought this cheap gamepad from WalMart and since then I had lost the driver CD. I had a difficult time locating a driver online, but finally did.

Update: The original link is now dead. I’m now hosting the file here.

Update2: Apparently AVG throws a false positive on this file. It’s not a virus, people. Feel free to use an online virus scanner to double check.

Update3: I can’t believe people are still downloading this file. Does anyone notice that this post was originally wrote over 4 years ago? What are the chances that the “Game Elements PC Recoil” you bought recently is even the same device that this driver was wrote for?

Bloglines Toolkit extension + Firefox 1.5

I’ve been having problems with the Bloglines Toolkit extension in Firefox 1.5.  The main problem being that it doesn’t work!  However I noticed here that the author, Chad Everett, posted a new, untested version in the comments.  That would be in comment #4.  This works fine for me…

Too many links

I’m going to have to find a better way of presenting my links.  With the amount of time I have for blogging, daily posts with my links seem to wipe out all my posts with content.  I think I’ll turn off my del.icio.us integration for awhile while I ponder a different scheme.

Scoble and NewsGator sittin’ in a tree…

Scoble constantly raves about NewsGator.  I don’t get it.  His main point everytime I notice him talking about it, is it’s sync’ed read/unread status between it’s web/PC/mobile versions.  Not enough to get me to switch since I get that with a consistent interface with Bloglines.  Bloglines has a mobile-friendly version of their site for viewing/reading on a mobile (which works surprisngly well over a plain ole GPRS connection) and everywhere else I could possibly want to read my feeds.  Couple this with the additional Bloglines features and you have a pretty killer app.

Now, I’m definitely not a “web apps are the future” sort of guy,but in this instance it seems like the way to go.

Any other reasons to give NewGator a try?

PS  Wrote this post with the Performancing blogging extension in Firefox.  This thing rocks.

Performancing for Firefox extension rocks my socks

The new extension from Performancing.com for posting blog articles seems to be a super slick system.  I’ll be testing it out and will update later with some more thoughts on it.
