At least 4% of people who get sentenced to death are innocent
A new study finds that if everyone sentenced to death got their cases scrutinized for the next twenty years, at least 4 percent of them would likely get exonerated. And false-conviction rates are probably higher for other cases.

Vox didn't do the study so whether or not they're as biased as Fox is irrelevant.

Did anyone actually read this article? The premise of the research is basically that they took a statistical model from biology and applied it to a completely unrelated field and someone had taken one number from it and creates a click bait headline.
