Arizona Senate votes to let anti-abortion docs lie to pregnant women
The Arizona Senate has passed a bill that immunizes doctors from malpractice suits if they deliberately withhold information about prenatal problems because they don’t want the woman carrying the fetus to consider an abortion.

On a more serious note, that is a great way to undermine trust in both politicians (who vote in favor of lying to people) and doctors (who have the right to lie to people). When trust will have been completely removed, the very fabric of a social contract will have been voided.

That headline seems misleading… I don't believe the legislation allows them to actually lie. Still doesn't sound good, but they need to watch their headlines.
