  1. How long for a submerged bed of sediments to become the planet's highest peak? Geologically rather quickly. Forever through the lens of our life span's perspective.

  4. That goes for saying something for the old Tibetian legend about how they had fabulous beaches…before the Indian sub-continent pushed it up…..and Tibetans became mountain dwellers!

  5. Hmm… Sea creatures on the top of Everest. I wonder how they might have floated up there. 😉

  6. My guess is you're alluding to a biblical flood, which doesn't make sense as there are plenty of mountains not made of such rock. Thus a flood would have to of just flooded some mountains and not others.
